Dillsburg Youth Baseball (DYB) offers supervised instructional baseball to children ages 4 to 18 years of age. In addition to our spring ball program, DYB provides opportunities for clinics, summer all- star tournaments, and fall ball.

What age groups are eligible to play baseball?

Dillsburg Youth Baseball (DYB) is a Little League based program that allows girls/boys ages 4-18 to participate.

When does the season begin?

Depending on the weather, practices begin mid-March. The season begins in early April and concludes around Memorial Day. Following the regular season, some players may be selected for the All-Star teams.
T-ball games are played on Saturday morning, while all other divisions can play Saturday's and week nights.

 

What are Assessments?

Hitting and fielding skill assessments are held in January for the Hybrid Coach Pitch division and above. The purpose of the assessments is to place your child on an appropriate team based upon their skill set.
Player must attend at least one assessment.

 

What equipment does my child need to play?

DYB will provide helmets, bats, hats, and a jersey. Players in Minors and above are issued pants. 
Each player needs to provide their own glove and appropriate foot wear.
All players may bring their own helmets and bats, provided they meet all safety and Little League Regulations.
